Other responsibilities were also to analyse, manage and support the development of the EU legislation and policies, carrying out analytical work, drafting publications, policy reports and briefs, scientific publication, conferences, internal meetings with Directorate Generals such as REGIO, AGRI, ENV, CLIMA, EUROSTAT, etc. Some recent achievements in this line have been:
1) Supporting the EC Communication on the Long-Term Vision for Rural Areas (LTVRA) and the associated Staff Working Document in a Inter DG collaboration led by DG AGRI along with DG REGIO, JRC and EUROSTAT.
2) Participation as a member of two Inter Services Steering Group under the responsibility of DG AGRI in order to assist and assess the findings, the conclusions, consultation strategies, recommendations and the quality of the deliverables during the whole evaluation process, namely:
- Synthesis of ex-post evaluations of 2007-2013 rural development programmes (2017 -2018).
- Evaluation of the Common Agricultural Policy’s impact on territorial development of rural areas: socio-economic aspects (2019-2020).
3) Supporting the biannual EU Cohesion Policy reports in collaboration with DG REGIO.
4) In collaboration with DG REGIO, AGRI, HOME and EUROSTAT the policy report entitle “The demographic landscape of EU territories” under the supervision of the Dubravka Šuica’s Cabinet team.
5) Expert consultant of the European Commission on HORIZON EUROPE – Soil Mission

6) Membership of the RUSTIK project as an expert consultant on rural development indicators.
