Project description: The main purpose of this project is to elaborate European wide information relating to key themes (e.g.: demography, environment, urban and rural development, agriculture transport …) and provide REGIO with indicators, maps and other data relevant for the analysis of European cities and regions. Modelling work relevant for territorial impact assessment is performed with the modelling platform LUISA.
Employee’s Roles & Responsibilities in the project: as Scientific officer and Researcher
Socio-economic, scientific modelling, scenarios and statistical analysis. In particular, implementation of different aspects of the Common Agriculture Policy (CAP) and EU agriculture scenarios, economic evaluation of agricultural land, food and feed production impacts, agricultural land abandonment modelling, land use and changes, farm structure, etc.
